Job Summary
The Detailing Engineer (OFWL) will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed fabrication and construction drawings for offshore/structural projects.
The role involves translating engineering designs and specifications into detailed shop drawings while ensuring compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed fabrication and construction drawings based on approved engineering designs.
Interpret structural and engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Develop shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and OFWL requirements.
Coordinate with design engineers, project teams, and fabrication units to resolve technical issues.
Review and update drawings based on revisions and field modifications.
Maintain drawing registers and documentation control.
Support site teams with technical clarifications when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in detailing, preferably in offshore, fabrication, or structural steel projects
