Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications and calculations.

Use AutoCAD or other CAD software to create and modify drawings.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements.

Produce 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and diagrams.

Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.

Maintain proper drawing records and documentation.

Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.

Check drawings for accuracy, measurements, and material specifications.

Support project teams during design and construction phases.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering.

Training in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).

1–3 years of experience in drafting or design support.

Experience in construction, engineering, or manufacturing drawings is preferred.
