Job Description
Prepare and review complex corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, WHT, PAYE) to ensure timely filing.
Lead transfer pricing documentation and filing returns
Develop tax-saving strategies, optimize procedures, and advise senior management on tax implications of business decisions.
Monitoring developments in tax legislation.
Reviewing tax returns.
Informing management and staff of developments in tax legislation.

Manage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. LIRS, FIRS, etc.
Keeping abreast of new development in reporting, tax and other regulatory requirement to ensure compliance.
Act as the primary liaison during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Ensure company wide tax compliant.
Identifying tax problems and developing solutions.
Completing responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
Qualifications
B.Sc / HND in Accounting or business-related field
Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CITN)
Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
Skills and Attributtes:
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and tax software
In-depth knowledge of tax law and principles
Passionate about work and willing to learn
Sound problem solving skill
Applicant MUST not be above 50 years old.
Experience in power/energy/oil and gas industry is essential
Ability to work independently without supervision
