Job Summary

 

An Account Officer is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling transactions, and ensuring accurate accounting processes within an organization.

Key Responsibilities

 

Maintain and update financial records and accounts.

Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Assist with audits and tax documentation.

Manage petty cash and daily financial transactions.

Monitor company expenses and income.

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.

Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting.

Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
