Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, distribution, and finance functions.
Lead and manage end-to-end internal audits (financial, operational, compliance, and inventory audits).
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Conduct plant audits covering production processes, wastage control, yield analysis, and cost controls.
Review inventory management processes including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Monitor distributor audits, trade schemes, sales returns, and credit controls.
Assess compliance with company policies, SOPs, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Identify business risks and provide practical recommendations to mitigate them.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure of action points.
Lead fraud investigations and special audits when required.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Develop and mentor audit team members.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in internal controls and governance.
Support ERP/system implementation reviews and data analytics-based audits.
