Key Roles and Responsibilities

Supervision of Housekeeping Staff:

 

Supervise room attendants, cleaners, and laundry staff.

Assign daily cleaning tasks and monitor staff performance.

Room Inspection:

 

Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors after cleaning to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.

Ensure rooms are properly arranged before guests check in.

Maintaining Cleanliness Standards:

 

Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.

Monitor cleaning procedures and correct mistakes when necessary.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

 

Monitor housekeeping supplies such as toiletries, cleaning chemicals, towels, and linens.

Request replenishment when items are running low.

Guest Service:

 

Respond to guest requests related to housekeeping (extra towels, room cleaning, etc.).

Ensure quick resolution of guest complaints related to cleanliness.

Reporting Maintenance Issues:

 

Report damaged furniture, faulty equipment, or plumbing/electrical issues to the maintenance department.

 

Staff Training:

 

Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and hotel standards.

 

Record Keeping:

 

Keep records of cleaned rooms, linen usage, and staff attendance.

 

Requirements

 

Interested candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 5 years experience.
