Job Summary / Position Overview
TheProcurement and logistics officer is responsible for facilitating and following all procurement and logistic activities .
The procurement and logistics officer is responsible to process purchase file, movement and transactions for equipment, materials, supplies, capital goods, and services.
Line Management/Position in the Organization:
El-Ezhar Care Initiative (ECI)
Reports to the Program Manager
Key and Responsibilities
Ensure that procurement and logistics proxcedures are followed in regards to supply chain including procurement , receipt and documentation
Ensure that the store-keeper keeps standard stock management (storage conditions, relevant reports, observations of expirations date etc
Ensure best available price and quality of items before acceptance from supplier
Update the prices and suppliers list at least every two months
Any other task assigned
