Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team in the fast-paced FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the company’s production and distribution of Products. The Administrative Officer will play a key role in coordinating activities across departments, handling office tasks, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the office, including managing office supplies, organizing records, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the workplace.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory, shipments, and waste management. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports for management.
Assist in onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR functions. Ensure that employee queries related to administrative issues are handled efficiently.
Act as the liaison between departments, communicating information regarding schedules, meetings, and tasks to ensure all operations are running smoothly.
Ensure that all administrative activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, including health and safety standards within the office and production areas.
Support the Operations Manager in implementing and streamlining operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and offering solutions to improve efficiency.
Address customer inquiries and complaints related to administrative and product delivery matters, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
Creation and updating of office policies and procedures to enhance productivity
Supervise office security guards and cleaners
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with office management software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Candidates must be residents of Ibeju-Lekki or its immediate surroundings.
