Key Responsibilities

 

Support the design and execution of climate action projects, including bootcamps, school programmes, and community initiatives.

Coordinate project activities, timelines, and deliverables in line with approved workplans.

Engage schools, youth groups, and communities to promote climate awareness and sustainable practices.

Collect project data, document outcomes, and prepare narrative and activity reports.

Support monitoring frameworks to assess project impact and learning.

Maintain organised project documentation and records.

Liaise with partners, schools, environmental organisations, and community stakeholders.

Support public engagements, campaigns, and advocacy activities related to climate action.

Coordinate logistics for training, workshops, field activities, and community Engagements.

Support procurement, budgeting inputs, and compliance with organisational policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

 

A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.

4–6 years of experience in project implementation, climate programming, environmental advocacy, or development work.

Experience working with youth, schools, or community-based projects is an advantage.

Strong project coordination and organisational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to manage timelines, documentation, and multiple stakeholders.

An understanding of climate change, sustainability, or environmental education is desirable.
