Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

Managing the day-to-day operations in the salon and analyzing results

Managing salon staff + timetables

Managing the salon booking process + ensuring client satisfaction

Aiding in developing new structures and processes

Assisting in executing KA sales + marketing strategy

Liaising + networking with a range of stakeholders: senior management, suppliers, colleagues + partner organisations,

In summary, the main aim of the role is to ensure the smooth running of our salon, addressing/troubleshooting problems as they arise, managing staff and effectively communicating store activities to the Founder and other senior management.

We are looking for someone with the following non-negotiable characteristics:

Previous experience managing a salon or retail team (we will follow up on references)

A “people person” – someone who can get on with junior staff, senior management and customers alike

A problem solver who doesn’t just burden management with issues, but can think through and present potential solutions

A team player who truly wants to see the business succeed

Demonstrable professionalism and ambition, with an extremely strong work ethic

The ability to think on your feet without requiring constant instructions or validation

Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)

Strong organizational, people + time management skills, with the ability to multi-task

Attention to detail

Self-discipline, a strong work ethic + trustworthiness
