Responsibilities
Present daily news bulletins on TV and Radio.
Read and interpret news scripts clearly and accurately.
Collaborate with news editors, reporters, and producers in preparing news content.
Conduct interviews and present breaking news updates when required.
Maintain a professional and credible on-air presence.
Stay informed about current events, national and international news.
Ensure adherence to journalistic ethics and broadcasting standards.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND/BSc in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related field with 2–4 years experience in news broadcasting or journalism is an advantage.
Excellent voice clarity, pronunciation, and diction.
Strong understanding of news reporting and media ethics.
Ability to remain calm and professional while presenting breaking news.
Knowledge of current affairs and strong research skills.
