Job Summary
A waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by attending to guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customers have a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and greet customers politely as they arrive at the restaurant.
Present the menu to guests and explain menu items when necessary.
Take customers’ orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized before and after service.
Check on customers during their meal to ensure they are satisfied with the service and food.
Handle customer requests, complaints, or special orders politely and professionally.
Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
Process bills and payments when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
