People2profit Nigeria – Our client specialises in liability mobilisation, with a strong emphasis on fixed deposit acquisition from individuals, corporate entities, and institutional clients.
They are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Growth Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
They are seeking high-performing, strategically minded Business Development Managers – Growth managers to lead our liability mobilisation efforts with a focus on fixed deposit acquisition and report directly to the GM
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute targeted strategies to acquire and retain fixed deposit clients across key segments (HNWIs, corporates, institutions).
Own end-to-end client relationships—from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and retention.
Partner with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to streamline client onboarding and enhance service delivery.
Represent employers professionally at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.
Uphold the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance in all client interactions.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly mobilisation targets.
Track, analyse, and forecast pipeline performance using data-driven insights.
Monitor competitor offerings, interest rate trends, and regulatory shifts affecting deposit behaviour.
Qualifications & Requirements
HND / BSc / MSc / MBA in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certification, such as CFA, ACCA, or CIBN Iis an added advantage
Mid-Level: 4–7 years in business development, sales, or relationship management within banking, microfinance, or financial services—with demonstrable success in deposit mobilisation or treasury product sales.
Proven track record in generating liabilities (especially fixed deposits) with verifiable past performance.
Deep understanding of Nigeria’s financial regulations, money market instruments, etc.
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Executive-Level: 8-12+ years of progressive experience, including team leadership, portfolio management, or P&L responsibility in a financial institution.
