Role Overview
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, equipment, and services required for the company’s operations, ensuring value for money, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in line with company requirements
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and processes
Work closely with warehouse, technical, and finance teams to meet operational needs
Requirements
B.Sc Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in procurement
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Good understanding of procurement best practices
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems is an advantage.
