About the Job
This is a full-time on-site role for a Geography Teacher at The Court Hill College located in Ikeja, Lagos.
The Geography Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective classroom instruction, and evaluating student progress.
The successful candidate must work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver a comprehensive Geography curriculum, provide extra support to students who need it, and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Mininum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in Geography, preferred.
A Qualified Teacher with a minimum of three years of experience working in a school setting.
Demonstrated success in lesson planning and classroom instruction.
Proficiency in teaching Geography to a diverse student population.
Solid understanding of current practices in teaching, learning, and assessment
A passion for education and a commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with the IGCSE curriculum.
