Main Responsibilities

Budgetary Responsibilities:

 

Produce an annual budget to management to cover the maintenance activities of the buses.

Provide management with estimates and budget costs throughout the financial year as required.

Customer Responsibilities:

 

Ensure clear communications are maintained between team members, operations team, finance team, HSE team, line management and vendors.

Operational Responsibilities:

 

Overall management of the buses.

Manage the process of fleet presentation, accident reporting, wilful damages by drivers, vehicle maintenance and servicing.

Ensure all vehicle accidents are accurately recorded and investigated with claim forms submitted to the TSL HSE and Legal Team. Act as primary contact with buses insurers, on fleet repair costing.

Manage the processes for obtaining damage estimates, the carrying out of repairs and ensure maximum availability of buses for operational teams.

Act as fleet adviser for Operations Managers.

Liaise with the Finance team to procure new fleet and arrange disposal vehicles.

Responsible for fleet maintenance & position database and ensuring its accuracy.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive adherence program for the company’s fleet.

Recommend and Implement policies that will effectively address the systemic gaps, leakages identified during repairs and maintenance period.
