Job Summary
We are looking for The Station Cashier who will be responsible for handling all cash and sales transactions at the station, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and excellent customer service.
The role involves managing payments, maintaining proper records, and supporting smooth daily operations at the station.
Key Responsibilities
Receive payments (cash, POS, transfers) for fuel and other products
Issue receipts and ensure accurate billing
Maintain and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift,
Reconcile daily sales with cash and POS transactions.
Accurately record all sales transactions in the system.
Promote available products and upsell where necessary.
Assist customers with inquiries on pricing and products.
Maintain proper documentation of daily transactions
Prepare daily sales and cash reports
Report discrepancies or shortages immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of BSc. in accounting or other related course.
Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer skills.
