Role Summary:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s range of wine products, achieving sales targets, and expanding the customer base across retail outlets, distributors, hotels, restaurants, and individual clients. The role requires a combination of strong selling skills, market knowledge, and relationship management to position the company as a leading wine brand in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in retail, wholesale, and hospitality channels.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Organize and participate in wine tastings, promotional events, and exhibitions to boost brand visibility.
Provide product knowledge and wine education to customers to enhance brand appreciation.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support business strategy.
Prepare and present periodic sales reports to management.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit control policies.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.
Job Requirements:
B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in sales preferably FMCG.
Ability to drive is an added advantage
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for client meetings, wine tastings, and events.
In-depth product knowledge and wine expertise.
High-end client relationship management skills.
Excellent presentation and persuasive selling skills
