Field Radio Engineer

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission radio equipment, antennas, and related infrastructure at field sites.

Ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Monitor and troubleshoot RF network issues, including signal interference and equipment faults.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to maximize network uptime.

Conduct RF measurements and performance tests to optimize coverage and capacity.

Analyze and adjust radio parameters to improve network efficiency.

Maintain accurate site records, including equipment logs, site surveys, and test results.

Prepare reports for management on network performance and issues.

Work with network engineers, technicians, and vendors to implement network upgrades and solutions.

Ensure field activities align with project timelines and organizational standards.

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all sites.

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for RF emissions and licensing.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 4 years relevant work experience.
