Electrical Technician

Responsibilties

Installation & Assembly: Install, assemble, and test electrical wiring, control systems, panels, and equipment.

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on electrical systems and machinery.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix malfunctioning equipment using specialized tools like voltmeters, ammeters, and thermal scanners.

Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and electrical codes,inspecting components like transformers and breakers.

Calibration: Calibrate instruments and systems for optimal performance.

Reporting: Log services, report progress, and communicate repair timelines.

Qualiications

Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Eng Degree with 3 – 5 years work experience.
