Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook/Chef to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with our menu and food safety standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meal preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining cleanliness while ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent food presentation and taste.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations
Plan menus and assist with daily food preparation schedules
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
Monitor food stock levels and report shortages
Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs
Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook or chef
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
Culinary training or certification
Creativity in menu development and food presentation
