Music Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Teach music theory, vocal training, and practical music lessons

Train students in singing, rhythm, notation, and basic instrument use

Prepare students for assemblies, concerts, and school events

Lead or support choir, band, or music club activities

Assess students’ progress and maintain academic records

Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field

Teaching qualification / TRCN registration (or in progress) is an advantage

1–3 years’ teaching experience preferred

Ability to play one or more musical instruments

Skills & Attributes
