Legal Manager

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Legal Managerwith top-tier law firm training and strong fintech or financial services exposure.

This role will lead legal strategy, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across all areas of the digital bank.

Key Responsibilities

Manage legal operations across regulatory compliance, contracts, data protection, lending, and employment

Oversee engagement with external counsel and regulatory bodies (CBN, NDIC, etc.)

Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and product terms

Advise on legal risk across all departments, particularly in growth and product.

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree

8+ years of legal experience, including at a top 4 Nigerian law firm and preferably in-house within fintech or banking

Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulation

Clear communicator and business-minded legal advisor.
