Finance Officer

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Progress towards or completion of a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).

Skills and Experience Required:

2-3 years of proven experience in a core finance function (e.g., Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, or Payroll administration).

Demonstrable experience executing error-free payroll processes and handling statutory remittances.

Experience with financial systems, ERP software, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

A proactive approach to ensuring all financial operations comply with internal policies and external statutory requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and provide strategic insights.

Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in Nigeria (NG) and/or the UK.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting.

Exceptional precision and accuracy, particularly in payroll, invoicing, and reconciliation tasks.

Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and support budgeting/forecasting activities.
