Welder

Job Summary

Responsible for Welds and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment.

Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that all measurements and drawings are being followed.

Sourcing the materials to be used in the project.

Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.

To fabricate a good job at a given time.

Ensuring that all measurements and drawings are being followed.

To reduce errors in terms of construction.

Meeting all daily targets.

Ability to weld pipe.

Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together

To ensure that the management time is not wasted.

To ensure that his section is arranged before the closing hour.

Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.

Requirements

Minimum of Trade Test Certificate.

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

At least 3 years work experience in a similar industry.

Salary & Benefits

N128,000 monthly.
