Resident Architect

Gombi Zone: Gombi and Hong LGAs.
Mubi Zone: Mubi North, Mubi South, and Maiha LGAs.
Michika Zone: Michika and Madagali LGAs.
Objective

To leverage on your Architectural expertise and skills to create well-designed, functional, and sustainable buildings and spaces that meet the organization’s specific needs, reflect its brand identity, comply with regulations, and enhance the user experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

Create designs and plans for buildings and spaces.
Conduct site visits to evaluate the feasibility and suitability of a location for construction.
Ensure designs comply with local rules and regulations, obtain necessary permits and approvals, and work with regulatory authorities to address any compliance issues
Develop project schedules, coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, and monitor progress to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants
Research and select appropriate materials for construction, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, sustainability, and budget.
Provide on-site supervision during the construction phase, ensuring that the project is being executed according to the design plans and specifications.
Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of the project, addressing their concerns, and seeking their input and feedback.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of Degree in Architecture.
Minimum of 2 years progressive experience as an Architect.
Professional certification will be an added advantage.
