Trailer Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

Be able to repair and install heavy-duty tires.

Demonstrate ability to mend (patch) and show professional techniques in the discharge of duties.

Inspected and diagnose mechanical defects in trucks, light vehicles and other mechanical equipment.

Mechanical or automotive equipment to maintain in a safe and operating condition.

Inspect and replace oil filters,gas filters and engine oil during routine servicing

Inspect compressor belts,valves and fittings on skids and trucks

Ensure tightness of mechanical joints and fittings to prevent leaks

Maintain daily maintenance log all work carried out

Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule

Review and act on drivers checklist daily to promptly fix reported issues

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as trailer mechanic
