Job Description and Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for teachers in the following areas:
Subject teachers for various disciplines in the Secondary School category
Class Teachers in Grade School
Early Years Teachers
Our ideal candidates will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and interactive lessons aligning with the available curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students’ participation and collaborative learning.
Assessing students’ progress and providing timely feedback to promote academic growth.
Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Fostering a passion for learning and inspiring students to reach their full potentials
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience of students and pupils.
Developing students’ abilities, interests and enthusiasm through creative curricula and extra curricula activities.
Presenting subject matter and properly utilizing a wide range of teaching materials and techniques.
Guiding discussions and supervising classwork
Testing and analyzing students’ abilities for customized progress in all activities
Enforcing personal development by supporting students to utilize and develop their capabilities.
Instilling positive discipline in the pupils, and maintaining orderly classroom.
Maintaining and updating attendance records as well as enforcing school’s discipline.
Conducting extra-curricular activities like school concerts, sports, and excursions along with special programmes
Following up with students/pupils in all subjects and activities including corrections of class work
Organizing classroom as well as learning resources to develop positive learning atmosphere.
Planing, preparing and presenting lessons that attend to the needs of entire ability range within classes.
Motivating students with enthusiasm and imaginative presentation.
Preparing and facilitating positive student development.
Qualifications, Skills requirements and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in the respective subject or a related field (Additional qualification is an added advantage).
TRCN certification and or relevant teaching experience.
A minimum of at least 3 years cognate teaching experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject matter.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
High computer literacy skills
Creative and innovative abilities.
