Role Overview

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for accurately measuring and determining land boundaries, as well as providing critical data on land features such as shape, contour, elevation, and dimensions. This role supports engineering, construction, and mapping activities and requires hands-on experience with modern surveying instruments and geospatial technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
Conduct physical site and ground surveys using appropriate equipment to establish baselines, elevations, and geodetic measurements.
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
Establish legal property boundaries based on land titles and deeds.
Record and document survey results, including terrain features and dimensions.
Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, and property lines.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Determine longitudes and latitudes using GPS, theodolites, and other surveying tools.
Apply knowledge of photogrammetry and electronic data processing in mapping activities.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Required Competencies

Proficiency in the use of GPS, GIS, and Total Station equipment
Strong knowledge of CAD software
Good understanding of mapping and spatial analysis
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Professional, service-oriented attitude
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to digital tools
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or a related field
3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
