Monitor and secure the assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security breaches.
Control access to the site by verifying the identity of employees, visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
Conduct routine patrols of the facility, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify security risks.
Inspect gates, fences, doors, windows, and other security points to ensure they are secure.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, fires, and security incidents.
Prepare accurate daily occurrence reports, incident reports, and shift handover reports.
Investigate suspicious activities and report findings to the Security Supervisor or Management.
Enforce company security policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Assist during emergency evacuations and ensure emergency procedures are followed.
Perform vehicle inspections and verify deliveries entering or leaving the premises.
Maintain records of visitors, vehicles, and security activities.
job specification
Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE); OND or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Professional security training or certification is desirable.
Previous experience in security services is an advantage.
Close proximity to the island is an advantage
