
Marsand Bespoke Joinery
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, MFC, plywood, and other materials.
Install doors, frames, skirting, staircases, cabinets, wardrobes, and bespoke furniture.
Fit kitchens, worktops, islands, shelves, and storage units.
Interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements accurately.
Carry out site surveys and take precise measurements.
Repair or replace damaged woodwork, panels, and fixtures.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Install hardware such as hinges, handles, knobs, and fittings.
Work closely with clients, designers, and site managers to meet project requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Ensure work meets health and safety standards and building regulations.
Deliver high-quality finishes (e.g., sanding, edging, varnishing, and laminating).
Collaborate with other trades when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a carpenter or joiner (3–5 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and joinery methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans.
Proficient in using carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment.
Good maths and measuring skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Physical fitness and ability to lift and install materials
