Job Description<\/p>\n
Prepare and review complex corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, WHT, PAYE) to ensure timely filing.
\nLead transfer pricing documentation and filing returns
\nDevelop tax-saving strategies, optimize procedures, and advise senior management on tax implications of business decisions.
\nAct as the primary liaison during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
\nEnsure company wide tax compliant.
\nIdentifying tax problems and developing solutions.
\nCompleting responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
\nMonitoring developments in tax legislation.
\nReviewing tax returns.
\nInforming management and staff of developments in tax legislation.
\ncorrectly.
\nManage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. LIRS, FIRS, etc.
\nKeeping abreast of new development in reporting, tax and other regulatory requirement to ensure compliance.
\nQualifications<\/p>\n
B.Sc \/ HND in Accounting or business-related field
\nProfessional qualification (ACA\/ACCA\/CITN)
\nMinimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
\nSkills and Attributtes:<\/p>\n
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and tax software
\nIn-depth knowledge of tax law and principles
\nExperience in power\/energy\/oil and gas industry is essential
\nAbility to work independently without supervision
\nPassionate about work and willing to learn
\nSound problem solving skill
