The HR Officer is responsible for managing all human resource functions within the hospitality organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and HR administration.<\/p>\n
The role ensures that staffing, culture, and policies support excellent guest service delivery and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for hotel and hospitality roles.<\/p>\n
Manage end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding).<\/p>\n
Ensure timely staffing of operational roles (front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, F&B, maintenance, etc.).<\/p>\n
Maintain updated job descriptions for all positions.<\/p>\n
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.<\/p>\n
Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with hospitality service standards.<\/p>\n
Mediate workplace conflicts and ensure fair resolution.<\/p>\n
Promote employee engagement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Coordinate performance appraisal processes.<\/p>\n
Support department heads in setting KPIs aligned with service excellence.<\/p>\n
Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement strategies.<\/p>\n
Identify training needs specific to hospitality (customer service, compliance, safety).<\/p>\n
Organize onboarding and orientation programs.<\/p>\n
Implement continuous training programs to enhance service delivery.<\/p>\n
Maintain employee records and HR database.<\/p>\n
Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.<\/p>\n
Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with labor laws and hospitality regulations.<\/p>\n
Develop and update HR policies and employee handbook.<\/p>\n
Monitor adherence to workplace safety, health, and industry standards.<\/p>\n
Assist in salary benchmarking within the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n
Administer benefits and incentives programs.<\/p>\n
Support payroll processing and compensation reviews.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.<\/p>\n
2\u20135 years HR experience (hospitality experience preferred).<\/p>\n
Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.<\/p>\n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n
Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.<\/p>\n
