The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of HR functions within the organization. This role requires a structured, disciplined, and strategic HR professional who can build systems, strengthen internal controls, drive performance management, and align people strategy with business objectives.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will provide operational HR leadership while supporting management in workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development.<\/p>\n

HR Strategy & Organizational Development<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.<\/p>\n
Conduct HR audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.<\/p>\n
Support leadership with workforce planning and succession planning.<\/p>\n
Strengthen HR governance and compliance frameworks.<\/p>\n
Recruitment & Talent Management<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.<\/p>\n
Develop structured onboarding and probation management systems.<\/p>\n
Implement competency-based hiring frameworks.<\/p>\n
Monitor manpower planning and staffing optimization.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Design and implement performance appraisal systems.<\/p>\n
Monitor KPI tracking and performance improvement processes.<\/p>\n
Support managers in handling underperformance and disciplinary matters.<\/p>\n
Drive accountability culture across departments.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations & Compliance<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbook.<\/p>\n
Promote positive workplace culture and engagement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Compensation & Payroll Oversight<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration.<\/p>\n
Review compensation structure for competitiveness and sustainability.<\/p>\n
Monitor leave management and workforce cost control.<\/p>\n
HR Systems & Reporting<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Implement or optimize HRIS systems.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate HR records and employee data.<\/p>\n
Provide monthly HR reports to management.<\/p>\n
Track HR metrics and workforce analytics.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.<\/p>\n
Professional certification (CIPM \u2013 Associate or Chartered preferred).<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5\u20137 years HR experience.<\/p>\n
At least 3\u20135 years in a supervisory or managerial HR role.<\/p>\n
