Duties\/Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Focuses on engines and airframes of the aircraft
\nKeeps records of and performs scheduled maintenance
\nDetermining the condition of the aircraft\u2019s parts and equipment
\nAnalyzing and interpreting technical information relating to aircraft
\nReading engineering diagrams and manuals
\nWorking closely with other departments to complete project work
\nMakes emergency repairs and upgrades to aircraft
\nPrepares for Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) inspections
\nEnsures engineers observe all NCAA rules and regulations when performing any job duty
\nUndertaking tasks and projects related to aircraft maintenance
\nExercising license\/approval in relation to the inspection and everyday processes
\nSigning off inspections and general tasks\/ repair work
\nEnsuring high-quality work is completed in relation to aircraft, components and completed documentation
\nEnsuring equipment, facilities and premises are maintained to an acceptable standard
\nEnsuring crews are suitably debriefed to ensure defects are accurately defined and recorded
\nEnsure crews and other departments are informed of any issues and the measures taken to rectify them
\nExperience & Qualification<\/p>\n
Aircraft apprenticeship, aircraft engineering diploma, or equivalent part 147 basic training certificate
\nEASA Part 66 B1 License\/NCAA certification required
