Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage all accounting transactions.
\nPrepare budget forecasts.
\nPublish financial statements in time.
\nHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
\nReconcile accounts payable and receivable.
\nEnsure timely bank payments.
\nCompute taxes and prepare tax returns.
\nManage balance sheets and profit\/loss statements.
\nPreparation and payment of commissions to company\u2019s consultants and partners.
\nReport on the company\u2019s financial health and liquidity.
\nAudit financial transactions and documents.
\nReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
\nComply with financial policies and regulations.
\nTrain other junior accountants.
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or relevant Degree.
\nAdditional certification (ICAN) is a plus.
\nWork experience as an Accountant with a minimum of 5 years.
\nExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). o Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
\nAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables. o Experience with general ledger functions.
\nStrong attention to detail and good analytical skills. Male preferably for gender balance
