{"id":19760,"date":"2026-03-15T20:15:47","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T20:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=19760"},"modified":"2026-03-16T19:45:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T19:45:19","slug":"qatar-charity-limited-abuja-full-time-receptionist-2","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/?job_listing=qatar-charity-limited-abuja-full-time-receptionist-2","title":{"rendered":"Receptionist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responsibilities<br \/>\nOperate switchboard, directing incoming and outgoing calls as required by the caller, determine the nature of the call and decide on an appropriate routing.<br \/>\nScreen all incoming visitors and vendors and direct to an appropriate location.<br \/>\nEnsure all staff and visitors fill in the required office attendance register.<br \/>\nProvide excellent customer service.<br \/>\nResponsible for maintaining office security and communicating with the security guards if and as needed.<br \/>\nAssist in typing, word processing, and general administrative support activities for the administrative team and other groups as assigned.<br \/>\nUpdate, maintain and distribute appropriate telephone staff directory(s).<br \/>\nUpdate and maintain online conference room schedules and a variety of intranet documents.<br \/>\nLiaise with Information Technology for appropriate telephone and computer issues (e.g. capability for visitors with office assignments, etc).<br \/>\nReceive and process newspaper, AEPB, AEDC and other relevant bills for payment.<br \/>\nKeep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received<br \/>\nOpen and close the office daily, observing security and other established office procedures.<br \/>\nReceive, log and distribute all incoming and outgoing courier packages; office deliveries; and incoming faxes in a timely manner.<br \/>\nPerform office equipment tasks such as making needed arrangements for services for telephone and e-mail, obtaining quotations for required services, and arranging for repairs of office equipment.<br \/>\nMaintain orderly appearance and functioning of the reception area.<br \/>\nPerforms any other duties as assigned.<br \/>\nQualifications and Requirements<br \/>\nUniversity Degree or recognized equivalent with 1-3 year experience in a similar role.<br \/>\nFamiliarity with international NGOs is a plus<br \/>\nExperience with large complex organizations preferred<br \/>\nFemales (s) are highly encouraged to apply<br \/>\nKnowledge, skills, and abilities:<br \/>\nAbility to work independently.<br \/>\nKnowledge of general office practices and administrative procedures.<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of switchboard\/voice mail equipment and mail processes such as postage machine, DHL, etc.<br \/>\nHave the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.<br \/>\nExcellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors and recipients of assistance.<br \/>\nRelevant computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.<br \/>\nMaintain a neat personal appearance and polite demeanour as prescribed by professional and local standards.<br \/>\nAbility to multitask.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":695,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"_uf_show_specific_survey":0,"_uf_disable_surveys":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Abuja","_application":"hr.opportunity.qc@gmail.com","_company_name":"Qatar Charity Limited","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[3],"class_list":{"0":"post-19760","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_type-full-time","7":"job-type-full-time"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/19760","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/695"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=19760"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fjob-types&post=19760"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
