Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.<\/p>\n
Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.<\/p>\n
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.<\/p>\n
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.<\/p>\n
Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.<\/p>\n
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.<\/p>\n
Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.<\/p>\n
Requirements and Qualifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum of a OND or equivalent.<\/p>\n
2+ years of experience in store keeping, inventory control, or record keeping.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.<\/p>\n
Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.<\/p>\n
Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.<\/p>\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.<\/p>\n
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.<\/p>\n
Skills to operate common office equipment.<\/p>\n
