About the Role<\/p>\n
We\u2019re looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager to lead the Everyday Banking squad at Kuda.
\nThis squad owns the central experience of the Kuda app; how customers navigate, understand their money, complete essential tasks, and interact with Kuda every day.
\nYou will set the vision, drive the roadmap, and line-manage Product Managers while partnering with Design, Engineering, Research, Analytics, and Marketing to deliver a simple, reliable, and intuitive core banking experience for millions of customers.
\nThis is a senior leadership role sitting at the heart of the Retail Tribe.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Take full ownership of the Everyday Banking roadmap, ensuring alignment with Kuda\u2019s OKRs and setting a clear, compelling vision for the squad.
\nLead and develop a team of Product Managers, engineers, designers, and analysts, fostering strong collaboration and high-quality execution.
\nOwn, understand, and optimise core everyday banking metrics, using these to guide the roadmap, identify issues, and communicate performance to senior leadership.
\nShape the evolution of Kuda\u2019s core app experience by shaping the everyday moments at the heart of the product so customers can move through the app effortlessly, understand their money instantly, and handle key banking moments with ease.
\nDiscover, develop, and improve end-to-end everyday banking journeys through thoughtful research, experimentation, and user-centred design.
\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage product requirements, ensuring operational excellence and alignment across squads and platform teams.
\nDesign, run, and interpret experiments that validate assumptions, improve clarity and usability, and drive continuous improvements across the everyday experience.
\nBuild iterative improvements using data, qualitative insights, and behavioural understanding, defining clear methods and metrics for evaluating outcomes.
\nCoordinate timelines, dependencies, and resources across mobile, backend, web, analytics, and design to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
\nDeliver meaningful improvements to the everyday banking experience and validate them continuously with customers.
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
5+ years of product management experience, with responsibility for core app surfaces, navigation, transactional flows, or financial journeys.
\nExperience managing or mentoring Product Managers, with the ability to guide their growth and support strong product thinking.
\nStrong analytical skills and comfort using data dashboards to define KPIs, diagnose issues, and measure impact.
\nProven ability to design, run, and learn from experiments, and to translate insights into product decisions.
\nTrack record of shipping high-quality product improvements in complex, cross-functional environments.
\nStrong understanding of mobile UX and customer behaviour in fast-moving or emerging markets.
\nClear communicator able to influence stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and leadership.
\nPreferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Experience in fintech, digital banking, or payments.
\nFamiliarity with African markets and financial ecosystems.
\nUnderstanding of payments, ledgering, or core banking systems.
\nExperience with A\/B testing frameworks, feature-flag-driven development, or experimentation platforms.
