Plan and supervise the shipments from production to the end-user
\nSchedule daily and weekly routes
\nTrack orders using functional systems
\nMonitor and report on transportation costs
\nEnsure shipping documents are properly filed
\nReport maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
\nResearch and suggest cost-effective transporting methods
\nConduct regular safety audits on vehicles
\nOrganize training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machines and handling of hazardous material)
\nKeep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders
\nEnsure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
\nStay up-to-date with safety regulations
\nQualifications \/ Requirements<\/p>\n
B.Sc \/ HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or any related Course.
\n3-5 years of proven experience as Transportation Manager, Shipping Manager or similar role
\nAbility to supervise and train staff
\nProblem-solving abilities
\nAge: 35-45 years.
\nMust have vast Knowledge in Petroleum Haulage and Transportation
\nSolid knowledge of supply chain management
\nExperience preparing and tracking orders
\nExcellent organizational skills
