\nKeeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
\nEnsuring that equipment is installed correctly\/safely.
\nWriting reports, bulletins and newsletters on safety.
\nUndertaking risk assessments.
\nIdentifying potential hazards and conducting job hazards analysis.
\nDetermining ways of reducing risks.
\nLiaising with relevant authorities.
\nOrganizing\/attending health and safety meetings.
\nSafely handling hazardous substances.
\nMaking recommendations following accidents\/incidents.
\nKeeping up to date with developments within the profession.
\nMaking presentations to groups of employees\/managers.
\nProviding health and safety training courses for employees and managers.
\nInvestigating\/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health.
\nWriting internal health and safety policies\/strategies.
\nDrawing-up safe operational procedures.
\nEnsure that the best and adequate protective clothing and equipment is available for all staff members and Pilots at the Plant.
\nRequirements \/ Skills \/ Qualifications<\/p>\n
B.Sc in Public Health or any related course in a Health, Safety or Environmental field of study.
\nGood organization skills.
\nGood analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
\nGood public speaking skills.
\nLeadership skills.
\nAt least 2 years experience in health and safety.
\nHSE Certification is compulsory.
\nMale\/Female.
\nIn depth knowledge of safety procedures.
\nProficient in all Microsoft Applications.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
