Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Advanced University Degree (Master\u2019s or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, preferably Environmental Engineering, Environmental or Social Studies, Development Studies \/ Development Finance, or a similar area.
\nAt least three (3) years work experience in a related field (relevant sector, E&S and \/ or sustainability etc.), preferably within the retail, FMCG or E&S consulting.
\nExperience working with IFC\u2019s Performance Standards on Environmental and Social
\nSustainability and other E&S\/sustainability reference frameworks.
\nApplicants with Environmental and Social issues experience in an FMCG sector should apply.
\nSkills:<\/p>\n
Strong communication skills, including report writing (use of PowerPoint and diagrams to present information in a concise format) and oral communication.
\nDemonstrated ability to independently manage and prioritize a busy and diverse workload with a range of deliverables for a variety of stakeholders.

\nGood judgement and attention to detail.
\nEffective negotiation skills, including the ability to be persuasive as well as to listen and pragmatically identify when compromise is required.

Knowledge of E&S issues in the retail or FMCG sector \u2013 Required.
\nInsight into the challenges associated with the implementation of E&S improvements in an SME \u2013 Required.
\nFamiliarity with the application of the IFC Performance Standards \u2013 Required.
\nISO 14001:2015 \u2013 Certification in Environmental Management Systems \u2013 Required
