Ensure all financial transactions and records are accurately maintained for J3 Foods and Stores International.<\/p>\n
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) for all outlets.<\/p>\n
Ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory transactions (purchases, movements, write-offs) in alignment with accounting standards.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the warehouse department to validate stock reports and minimize discrepancies between physical and book inventory.<\/p>\n
Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations (bank, inventory, receivables, payables).<\/p>\n
Manage and mentor Account Officers across all distribution outlets.<\/p>\n
Conduct monthly performance reviews and ensure adherence to accounting procedures.<\/p>\n
mplement standardized accounting processes across all locations.<\/p>\n
Resolve complex accounting issues escalated by Account Officers.<\/p>\n
Approve payment vouchers, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.<\/p>\n
Ensure payroll is processed correctly and on time, including accurate deductions and remittances.<\/p>\n
Manage and monitor payment systems to verify incoming payments.<\/p>\n
Oversee cost accounting and ensure proper allocation of expenses.<\/p>\n
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Monitor trade promotions, discounts, and rebate accounting.<\/p>\n
Validate sales reports and ensure revenue recognition aligns with accounting standards.<\/p>\n
Ensure timely filing of VAT, corporate taxes, and other statutory obligations.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on changes in tax laws affecting FMCG distribution.<\/p>\n
Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.<\/p>\n
Train Account Officers on new accounting processes and policies.<\/p>\n
Prepare financial reports to MD\/CEO and General manager.<\/p>\n
