{"id":20483,"date":"2026-03-25T13:18:22","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T13:18:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=20483"},"modified":"2026-03-25T23:50:02","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T23:50:02","slug":"family-health-international-fhi-360-abuja-full-time-receptionist-3","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/?job_listing=family-health-international-fhi-360-abuja-full-time-receptionist-3","title":{"rendered":"Receptionist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Basic Function<\/p>\n<p>The receptionist under the supervision of the Facilities Manager will help to provide both secretarial and receptionist services by monitoring and operating computer work, typing, filing, receiving visitors, answering calls, opening and directing official mail.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Operate switchboard, directing incoming and outgoing calls as required by caller, determine the nature of the call and decide on an appropriate routing.<br \/>\nScreen all incoming visitors and vendors and direct to appropriate location.<br \/>\nEnsure all staff and visitors fill in the required office attendance register.<br \/>\nProvide excellent customer service.<br \/>\nResponsible for maintaining office security and communicating with the security guards if and as needed.<br \/>\nKeep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received<br \/>\nOpen and close the office daily, observing security and other established office procedures.<br \/>\nReceive, log and distribute all incoming and outgoing courier packages; office deliveries; and incoming faxes in a timely manner.<br \/>\nPerform office equipment tasks such as making needed arrangements for services for telephone and e-mail, obtaining quotations for required services, arranging for repairs of office equipment.<br \/>\nMaintain orderly appearance and functioning of the reception area.<br \/>\nAssist in typing, word processing, and general administrative support activities for the administrative team and other groups as assigned.<br \/>\nUpdate, maintain and distribute appropriate telephone staff directory(s).<br \/>\nUpdate and maintain on-line conference room schedules and a variety of intranet documents.<br \/>\nLiaise with Information Technology for appropriate telephone and computer issues (e.g. capability for visitors with office assignments, etc).<br \/>\nReceive and process newspaper, AEPB, AEDC and other relevant bill for payment.<br \/>\nPerforms any other duties as assigned.<br \/>\nQualifications and Requirements<\/p>\n<p>University Degree or recognized equivalent with 1-3 year experience in a similar role.<br \/>\nFamiliarity with international NGOs a plus<br \/>\nExperience with large complex organization preferred<br \/>\nKnowledge, skills, and abilities:<\/p>\n<p>Ability to work independently.<br \/>\nKnowledge of general office practices and administrative procedures.<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of switchboard\/voice mail equipment and mail processes such as postage machine, DHL, etc.<br \/>\nMaintain a neat personal appearance and polite demeanor as prescribed by professional and local standards.<br \/>\nAbility to multitask.<br \/>\nHave the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.<br \/>\nExcellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors and recipients of assistance.<br \/>\nRelevant computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office products.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":695,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"_uf_show_specific_survey":0,"_uf_disable_surveys":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Abuja","_application":"jobs.evergreenrecruitment@gmail.com","_company_name":"Family Health International (FHI 360)","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[3],"class_list":{"0":"post-20483","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_type-full-time","7":"job-type-full-time"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/20483","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/695"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=20483"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.jobsinnaija.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fjob-types&post=20483"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
