We are searching for a reliable and enthusiastic biology teacher.
\nA biology teacher provides instruction and guidance to help students explore and understand important concepts in biology, including problem-solving and how to gather evidence to support ideas or decisions.
\nThe biology teacher will create lesson plans, present science demonstrations, and grade tests and assignments.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Preparing and delivering ability- and age-appropriate curricula
\nDemonstrating hands-on activities prior to assignment
\nAssigning homework, including supplemental reading and science projects
\nEvaluating student performance on tests, reports and lab activities
\nCollaborating with other teachers, staff, students and parents to support student progress
\nStaying current on the latest technology and scientific discoveries
\nCoordinating school science fairs
\nMentoring students and preparing them for science competitions.
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
B.Sc or B.Ed in Biology.
\nTRCN Certificate is an added advantage.
\nMinimum of 1 year teaching experience
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\nPatience and resilience.
\nInnovative thinking.
