Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Collecting and analyzing data about the company\u2019s operational costs.
\nDeveloping and analyzing cost standards for profit maximization.
\nCarrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis, across all units in the business.
\nAnalyzing audits of food costs and preparing reports.
\nMaking estimates of new and proposed food costs.
\nProviding management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
\nAnalyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports, comparing budget costs to actual production costs and conducting product margin reporting and analysis.
\nCollecting and analyzing data about a company\u2019s operational costs.
\nSetting standard costs of the manufactured goods and product prices.
\nDevelop and analyze cost standards.
\nCarrying Out Cost Volume Profit (CVP) analysis
\nPlan and record variable costs (e.g.purchases of raw material and operations costs)
\nReview standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
\nAnalyze and report profit margins.
\nPrepare (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
\nIdentify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
\nAssist in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory.
\nWork closely with relevant process owners to obtain the necessary information required for compilation, documentation, and analysis of costs.
\nCarry out monthly stock counts, analyze variances, and perform reconciliation.
\nPerform all other duties assigned by management.
\nAssist the businesses in determining a competitive pricing strategy to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.
\nAnalyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors and report data to decision-makers.
\nImplement change in prices on ERP and Aisles
\nCompare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for the decrease or increase.
\nForecast margins to help the business understand the impact of promotional and seasonal pricing
\nPresent pricing analysis at a monthly strategy meeting, with insights, trends, and suggestions.
\nLead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations.
\nWork cross-functionally throughout the organization to drive analysis-driven change.
\nQualification<\/p>\n
OND \/ HND \/ Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Cost Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math, Economics\u00a0or related analytical discipline preferred
\nProfessional Certification is an added advantage
\nMinimum of 3 years experience in a similar role including Inventory
\nFinancial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis a plus
\nExperience within the Retail\/FMCG Industry is a plus
