Vendor analysis: Vet vendors to guarantee product quality and best prices
\nOrdering inventory from vendors and suppliers and confirming goods arrival times
\nManaging inventory by stocking and cataloguing products
\nInput Inter-branch stock movement
\nPerforming quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company\u2019s standards
\nUpdating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business
\nReporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as too little inventory at last count
\nImplementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft
\nObtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs
\nResearching the accuracy of product details and testing new products
\nStock taking across branches
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
A minimum of OND
\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in similar role
\nAbility to effectively communicate, read and write.
\nOrganizational abilities
\nAbility to work under pressure
\nPolite and able to get along with people.
\nResiding close to location is an added advantage.
\nRemuneration
