Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Coordinate the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process with inputs from all departments and ensure compliance.
\nEvaluate the effectiveness of controls in meeting business and control objectives.
\nIdentify and document control weaknesses and propose practical and value-added recommendations to provide evidential support for findings.
\nCoordinate the timely clearance by relevant departments of all gaps reported by the Internal and External Auditors.
\nProduce a monthly Internal Control Report, issues flagged and prioritize improvement opportunities to Exco.
\nEnsure that the Internal Control aspects of the Operational Risk Policy are adhered to.
\nPromoting staff knowledge and compliance accordingly, while recommending Policy updates where required based on best practices and changing circumstances.
\nWorking with client\u2019s personnel to ensure review and implementation of departmental SoPs per the existing firm-wide activity task list and associated gap analysis.
\nJob Requirements<\/p>\n
Relevant qualifications in ACA, ACCA, and CIA
\nMinimum of 10 years experience in internal control\/audit
\nHands-on experience with Issuing houses in capital markets, structured finance deals, and infrastructure sector transactions.
\nFinancial Service, Investment\/Assets Management industry knowledge and experience is a plus.
\nExcellent communication and writing skills
\nAn understanding of the industry and business models and the ability to communicate business strategies to stakeholders.
