Job Description<\/p>\n
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company\u2019s policies and vision
\nOversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
\nSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
\nInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
\nAdhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
\nMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
\nManage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
\nPrepare annual budget
\nLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
\nPlan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
\nRecruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
\nProduce reports and statistics regularly (IN\/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
\nReceive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
\nMinimum Requirements<\/p>\n
BSc Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
\nMinimum of 8 years work experience in the relevant field \u2013 preferably the FMCG\/Manufacturing industry.
\nProven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
\nExpertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
\nProven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
\nStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
\nHands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
\nLeadership skills and ability manage staff
\nStrong decision making and problem solving skills
