Accountabilities:<\/p>\n
Preparing and submitting accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
\nManaging project budgets and cash flow projections, ensuring that costs are kept within budget.
\nConducting risk assessments and providing advice on the commercial implications of decisions made during the construction process.
\nPreparing tender documents and contracts, negotiating with contractors, and ensuring that contracts are awarded to the most suitable contractors.
\nCollaborating with other members of the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
\nMonitoring project progress and ensuring that costs are accurately recorded and reported.
\nManaging the payment process, including valuing completed work and issuing payment certificates.
\nEnsuring that all project-related documentation is accurately recorded and filed.
\nConducting post-project evaluations and producing reports on the project\u2019s financial performance.
\nKeeping up to date with industry developments and changes in legislation and regulations relating to construction costs and contracts.
\nExperience \/ Requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Quantity Surveying
\nA minimum 3 years experience in quantity surveying
\nStrong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
\nProficient in cost estimating and budget management software
\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\nStrong negotiation and communication skills
\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
\nAttention to detail and accuracy task.
\nSelf-driven and proactive nature.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nDemonstrate leadership qualities.
\nHigh computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
\nExperience in document creation.
